Email Notice to SCOW Members - August 24, 2021

Hello SCOW Members - Your SCOW COVID-19 Task Force has recently agreed on additional guidance for SCOW activities originating at the Washington Sailing Marina. This is prompted both by the increased levels of local community spread of the Delta Variant of the virus and by a desire by the committee to promote the sharing of vaccination status among crew members in advance of departure from WSM docks. The Task Force approved guidance is as follows:

Beginning immediately, prior to a vessel leaving the dock at WSM to participate in a SCOW activity, well in advance of boarding, if possible, all intending to sail together should be aware of the vaccination status of each other. This information is to be voluntarily shared and an individual is free to decline to share their vaccination status. All sailing together are empowered to inquire about the vaccination status of skipper and crew.

Thanks in advance for following this guidance. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Take Care -

Chip

Vice-Commodore and COVID-19 Task Force Chair
