About US
Welcome to the Sailing Club Of Washington SCOW Facebook Page  SCOW Picasa Page

The Sailing Club of Washington welcomes people who have never sailed, "old salts" who've sailed for years, and those who just enjoy socializing with sailors.

We're a 100% volunteer-run organization. Our members collectively own our keelboat cruisers and the Flying Scot centerboard boats in our fleet. We keep our boats at Washington Sailing Marina on Daingerfield Island, just off the George Washington Parkway, south of Reagan National Airport.

Our Members pay annual dues to participate in member-only events such as Training, Racing, River Excursions and Raft-Ups. Members pay an additional fee to become Skipper certified. All members who are certified SCOW skippers have access to our boat reservation system.
