Good evening,

The health and safety of our Club members and their families remain our top priority. As the graph below demonstrates, the COVID-19 infection rate in the DMV has not reached its apex, and more and more of our friends and family are falling ill.

We need to do everything that we can in support of our community, government leaders and their Executive Orders.

Washington, DC - Mayor Muriel Bowser issued Mayor’s Order 2020-063 to extend the state of emergency and public health emergency for Washington, DC through May 15, 2020, as the District continues to fight the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Virginia - Governor Ralph Northam - Effective Date of this Executive Order shall be effective March 30, 2020, amends Amended Order of the Governor and State Health Commissioner Declaration of Public Health Emergency, Order of Public Health Emergency One and Executive Order 53, and shall remain in full force and in effect until June 10, 2020, unless amended or rescinded by further executive order.

Maryland – Governor Larry Hogan - Stay-at-Home Order - All persons living in the State of Maryland are hereby ordered, effective as of 8:00 p.m. on March 30, 2020, to stay in their homes or places of residences (“Homes”) except: i. to conduct or participate in Essential Activities… This Order will remain in place until rescinded.

In cooperation with our local government agencies and in the best interest of the health and well-being of our membership at large, SCOW is extending its no-sail/no-event policy through Wednesday, May 15, 2020.
