The purpose of this link is for prospective crew to sign up for Wednesday Night Racing (WNR) during the COVID 19 pandemic. This list of registrants will serve as a pool from which skippers may select crew for WNR. Being on this list does not guarantee a spot on a boat as crew.
Skippers may elect to sail or not sail and have the freedom and responsibility to make appropriate decisions regarding whether to sail and with whom to sail in order to protect their own health health and the health of members.
Decisions regarding whether or not to wear a mask while sailing should comply with state and local directives and guidance. Skippers and boat crews should make all such decisions ahead of time before agreeing to sail together.
Everyone must recognize that we are still in the fairly early stages of the pandemic and that any physical interaction with others presents a certain degree of risk. All risk is assumed by those that decide to sail. It's a personal decision for each individual. Sailing is a risk sport and this year, we have an additional risk factor for which we must account.
If you don't feel well or have COVID symptoms or have someone in your household that does, do not sign up here and do not go sailing. You should be quarantining or isolating at home.
